BOB SMITH is for the "E-VERIFY system which permits an employee to call the E-VERIFY system and "verify the validity of any person being employed. The employer can obtain a verication in a few minutes with 99 percent accuracy. The federal E-Verify system checks the validity of Social Security Numbers when a worker is employed.
BOB SMITH is for the use of the Immigration Law known as 287(g). This law permits local Law Enforcement Officers to take training in Immigration Laws and thereafter, permits them to ask a person being arrested, whether they are a U.S. citizen or if they are in the U.S. "legally".
